Who provides Ive

Ive is a product of Reveriext Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Reveriext”). These terms are between Reveriext and the organisation that uses it. Each person an organisation adds uses Ive under these terms and under what that organisation allows, and the organisation answers to Reveriext for what its people do with it. Questions go to hello@reveriext.com.

What Ive is

Ive keeps an organisation’s brand, its knowledge and its marketing material in one place: its brand kits and guidelines, a library of files, the pages of what it knows, its collateral, and each person’s own kit. People work on it in the app, and through the AI assistants they connect.

Ive is by invitation. Only Ive’s administrators add people; an organisation’s own admins decide what the people in it may use, and may remove them.

Your account

  • You sign in with a code sent to your email; there is no password.
  • An admin of your organisation approves what members write before it is used by others, and can open every version anybody there makes.
  • An assistant you connect acts as you, with what you may do at that moment, and what it does is written down as yours. You can end a connection at any time in My profile.

Your organisation’s content

What an organisation writes and uploads is kept in its own database and file store, apart from every other organisation’s, and is used to run Ive for that organisation. Nothing an organisation keeps is shown to anybody outside it, except the pictures it chooses for its email signatures and a file an assistant of its own is given a ten-minute link to.

The organisation keeps whatever rights it has in what it keeps in Ive, and Reveriext takes none. The organisation gives Reveriext permission to store, copy, process and show that content only as far as is needed to run Ive for it: to keep it and its versions, to lay it out, to find it by meaning, and to give it to the assistants the organisation and its people allow. The organisation is responsible for having the right to put it there. Ive itself, its software and its look belong to Reveriext.

Using Ive

Use Ive for the organisation’s own brand, knowledge and marketing material, and as the organisation allows. Do not:

  • break the law, or keep or share anything you have no right to;
  • share your sign-in, let somebody use your account or an assistant you connected, or use anybody else’s;
  • try to reach another organisation’s content or what Ive holds for anybody else, to get round what an admin has allowed, or to test Ive’s defences without Reveriext’s written word;
  • put into Ive anything meant to run or restyle the app, or anything that harms it or others (malware, or heavy automated use that slows it for everybody);
  • copy or resell Ive itself, or build a competing service from it.

Reveriext may suspend an account, or an organisation, that does, and will say why where it can.

The service

Ive is changed and released as one product for every organisation; an organisation’s admins see which release it is on. Something deleted can be restored from the recycle bin for 90 days.

Reveriext works to keep Ive available and mends faults as soon as it reasonably can, but Ive is provided as it is and may be interrupted for releases, maintenance or causes beyond Reveriext’s control. Support is by email to hello@reveriext.com. No service level applies unless we have agreed one with you in writing.

Ive is by invitation for now and has no published price. Nothing is charged unless Reveriext and the organisation agree it in writing.

Ending

An organisation’s admins can remove anybody from it. An organisation that is suspended refuses everybody, and every assistant, until it is reactivated; nothing is deleted. Deleting an organisation removes everything it keeps, and cannot be undone.

Either side may end these terms for an organisation by telling the other in writing, and Reveriext may end them at once where these terms are broken. Before an organisation is deleted its admins should take out what it needs: its collateral and files by Export, and its knowledge as the OKF bundle Ive publishes. Because deleting an organisation cannot be undone, Reveriext will give the organisation reasonable notice, and time to do that, before it deletes it, unless the law or the nature of the breach requires otherwise.

Warranties and liability

Reveriext will provide Ive with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, Ive is provided as it is and as available, and Reveriext gives no other warranty, express or implied, that it is free of faults, always available, or fit for a purpose the organisation has in mind. What an assistant writes or makes is not Reveriext’s work, and the organisation is responsible for checking it before it is used.

Neither side is liable to the other for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss, nor for more in total, for everything arising in a year, than the fees the organisation paid for Ive in that year. Nothing here limits what the law does not allow to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

The organisation will defend Reveriext against a claim by somebody else that what the organisation put into Ive, or the way it used Ive, broke the law or their rights, and will pay what is awarded or agreed in settlement, provided Reveriext tells it promptly and lets it run the defence. Reveriext will do the same for a claim that Ive itself, as Reveriext provides it, infringes somebody’s rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from Ive is brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both of us submit to their exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top says when these terms last changed. Ive sends no notices of its own, so Reveriext will tell each organisation’s admins of a change that matters at the address Ive has for them, and ask them to tell their people. A change applies to an organisation thirty days after that notice, or at once where it is needed to keep Ive lawful or secure. Using Ive after a change applies is agreeing to it.
